From Stereoscopes to Televisions: The Evolution of Home Entertainment

Families have long gathered around the hearth, seeking entertainment through storytelling, reading, playing music, and cards. Technology began to alter home entertainment in the late 19th century, as inventors created wondrous new devices like stereoscopes, phonographs, radios, and eventually televisions.
