Pink Martini Photo Shoot at Pittock Mansion

December 22, 2010

Pittock Mansion welcomed Portland’s own Pink Martini on a crisp, fall day while they were photographed for promotional materials.

Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world, Thomas Lauderdale started Pink Martini in Portland in 1994 to provide more beautiful and inclusive musical soundtracks for political fundraisers for progressive causes.  With China Forbes and 12 band members, Pink Martini now performs its multilingual repertoire on concert stages and with symphony orchestras throughout the world.

We thank them for sharing a magnificent part of Portland’s history with their international audience.

Pink Martini just released their first holiday album, JOY TO THE WORLD, and they will perform at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall on New Year’s Eve with special guests Ari Shapiro and Pacific Youth Choir & Bells of the Cascades.
