Pittock Mansion is located at 3229 N.W. Pittock Drive, just 2 miles west of downton Portland off West Burnside.
Pittock Mansion is situated on 46 acres of land 1,000 feet above downtown Portland and commands a view of five mountains in the Cascade Range. Enjoy the fragrant gardens, miles of hidden hiking trails, and sweeping city views. Feel free to bring a picnic to enjoy on the lawn. Keep in mind that the weather in Oregon can quickly change; we recommend bringing an umbrella and a coat along with you.
The Mansion is located within Pittock Acres Park, and is part of the Portland Parks and Recreation system. The grounds are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Park gates lock at 9p.m., please plan accordingly.
Guided tour times vary according to the season and attendance levels. Guided tours are approximately 60 minutes long and are included with admission. For more information about guided tours, including guided tour times on the day of your visit, call Visitor Services at 503.823.3624.
Take a self-guided tour anytime during our open hours. We recommend you set aside 30–60 minutes to tour the inside of the Mansion.

No visit would be complete without stopping in the museum store. Our museum store is located in the Mansion’s garage and offers items including period-inspired men’s and women’s accessories, décor, toys and games, history books, and holiday decorations. Private personal events such as weddings, birthday parties, or anniversaries are not permitted.

Casual handheld snapshots (without flash) are permitted inside and outside of the Mansion. Equipment such as tripods, monopods, and lights are not permitted inside the museum during normal operating hours.

Commercial photography on the grounds outside of Pittock Mansion requires a permit that must be obtained through Portland Parks & Recreation. Find permit information here.
Pittock Mansion is partially wheelchair and stroller accessible, via the ground floor entrance on the East side of the home. Volunteers and staff members will assist visitors in using the Mansion’s original elevator to access the 3 floors open for touring.
Due to the limited size of the Mansion elevator, motorized wheelchairs and scooters may not fit inside it. Visitors are welcome to borrow a wheelchair as they tour the mansion. Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis.
