Dear Pittock Supporters,

I’m excited to share this announcement: the 2025–2026 Winter Season of Special Events and Exhibits at Pittock Mansion launches on November 17, 2025!

This year, we’re bringing back an expanded and reimagined version of our beloved Home for the Holidays event, titled “The Decades Tour.” Visitors will enjoy festive displays across nineteen rooms in the Mansion and four in the Gate Lodge, each artfully decorated to reflect a nesting of five iconic decades — from the 1910s through the 1950s. And you will love the grand foyer — it’s being decorated to wow you!

For the first time, our seasonal exhibition — The Life and Art of Harry Wentz — part of the Pittock Connections Annual Exhibit Series — will also align thematically with the holiday event.

Thanks to the generosity of five local private collectors and three local museums, we will be showcasing rare paintings, ephemera, and prints from one of the most influential Northwest Post-Impressionist artists, Harry F. Wentz. A pivotal figure in Portland’s art history, Wentz was not only a celebrated painter but also a mentor to many 20th-century artists. His connection to Pittock Mansion ran deep — Henry Pittock personally commissioned him to design and paint the stunning ceiling in the Turkish Smoking Room, a lasting testament to his artistry.

None of this would be possible without the incredible hard work of our staff team, our devoted volunteer holiday decorators (nearly 70 strong!), and our generous partners in the arts community. We’ve been working hard to create an unforgettable and immersive experience — and your continued support ensures our success:
