One of our featured artists includes Chris Marble, a Forest Grove native, who rediscovered her love of music in an unexpected place: the historic Pittock Mansion. After years away from the piano and moving back to Oregon in 2009 to care for her mother, Chris toured the mansion in 2015 and asked if she could play a piano in the Carriage House. That spontaneous moment rekindled her passion for music.

Encouraged by a staff member, she was soon invited to play the mansion’s iconic Steinway piano—an experience she describes as deeply moving and transformative. Since then, Chris has been a cherished part of Pittock Mansion’s holiday and summer programming, filling the halls with music and joy.

Now the Music Director at First Christian Church in Forest Grove, Chris also performs at special events and memory care centers. She is honored to share her music and often says with pride, “I play the Steinway at Pittock Mansion.”

In addition to their duo work, both Morgan and Robin are active members of the Westside Community and Youth Orchestra. This musically diverse and vibrant ensemble rehearses at Liberty High School in Washington County. Whether performing as a duo or with an orchestra, they are dedicated to sharing the joy of music with audiences of all ages.
