No pets are allowed in Pittock Mansion, The Gate Lodge, or Garage. Pets are allowed on the Mansion’s grounds, but owners must adhere to all City of Portland ordinances regarding pets in public spaces.
Service Animals
Pittock Mansion does allow service animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Under the ADA, Pittock Mansion staff are allowed to ask the following questions:
- Is the service animal required because of a disability?
- What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?
Please note: Emotional support, therapy, and service-dogs-in-training are not recognized as legal service animals under the ADA and are therefore considered to be pets.
